Facebook help!!!!!!!?

how do you tag someone in you status
ex : Jacob Doris is a jerk
And the name jacob doris would be blue ? i tried the @ symbol infront of the name but it still doesnt work also im using my phone on fb so idk if its different procedure and how do you tag a place ? ex : at TGI fridays with Jacob
And TGI fridays would be highlighted blue plz help!! also remember i can only use facebook on my phone so how do you do it with a cell phone !

u cant tag ur friends on ur status if ur using ur phone.. it can only be done on a computer.....
and to check in u need to have a facebook app on ur phone e.g. htc andriod or iphones

- open the app
- go to the main page where theres news feed, profile, friends etc.
- click places
- on the top right had corner click "check-in"
- click on where u are at the moment
- under "what are u doing?" and above the button "check-in" theres a tab saying "tag friends with you" click there and choose ur friends
