Is this a good totebag for a High School Girl next year?

I'm going to be a freshman. I know that Diesel is expensive (I wish I could afford their clothes!) but I wanna know if its worth it and it really does look cool and can fit all my books n stuff. Otherwise, where else can I get more affordable, cute backpacks/totes for the next school year? If I dont get a tote, are jansport bags still cool? where do they sell them? thanks. 
Okay then what other bags look pretty cute/cool and aren't too pricey? be specific so I can find them. Juicy Couture had a nice bag but it was too pricey. I guess I only liked that Diesel bag because it was diesel
